Thailand Interfaith Network on AIDS shares about SALT with dutch Togetherness Foundation

Partner: Oxfam Novib

Togetherness foundationTogetherness Foundation, an intercultural organization from the Netherlands, visited the InterFaith Network on HIV/AIDS in Thailand (INHAT). Together with Constellation coaches, INHAT introduced the SALT approach and did several SALT visits together. This exchange is supported by Oxfam/Novib from the Netherlands. The focus of the exchange was about how SALT can be a bridge between different religions.

“Actually many exciting things happened during our learning event in the week of 28 Feb - 4 Mar, explained Usa Duongsaa, Constellation coach. As we had Rafique from India and Marion from France joining the Dutch team consisting of Bastiaan from Ramadan Fstival, Moustapha from Mexit, Brigitte from Serve the City, and Alper from Islam & Dialogue, along with a dozen Thai, the little event turned out to be a great international learning event focusing on SALT and HIV/AIDS interfaith work with the communities.”

In May 2010, a thai delegation went to the Netherlands to continue the exchange and dialogue. Together with Dutch associations and groups, they explored how SALT could be applied in a Dutch setting.
