Communities learn and transfer to others
Communities learn from their own and other's experiences. They then transfer what they learn to others. That is how Malaria Competence spreads.
An example...
After doing their self-assessment with support of UNICEF, women from Ceremesadou (in Guinea Conakry), set up a 'Network of Women against malaria'. They joined a local Financial Service Association, a community bank, together with many small associations. The women are now stimulating many other members to stop the spread of malaria.
