I am speaking on behalf of the women’s group. After our training, the first thing that we did was to call a meeting that all of the women attended. About 200 people attended the meeting.
The first thing that they did at the meeting was to explain to their colleagues the importance of preventing malaria as they had learned from the trainer. So they had to avoid stagnant water in their compound. Also the tyres that are not in use must all be collected up and they must get rid of them because they are a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
That was the first time that we had the opportunity to be informed about malaria.
