Great Lakes Initiative on AIDS
Burundi, DR-Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda
The Constellation and the GLIA transferred the AIDS Competence process to networks of long-distance transport workers, communities and groups associated with them as well as networks of people living with HIV. This process is supported by the World Bank.

Asian Development Bank
Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand
The Constellation, with support from the Asian Development Bank, build the capacity of 473 NGO representatives in six Asian countries. They transferred the AIDS Competence Process to 543 communities throughout Asian. ADB now supports the six country teams to spread the approach at scale.

Cordaid and IIRR
Ethiopia
Cordaid and their local partner IIRR in Ethiopia integrate the AIDS Competence into their Community
Managed Disaster Risk Reduction (CMDRR). Like flooding and drought, HIV is a concrete risk that communities are faced with. There is a great opportunity to address those risks using the AIDS Competence approach.

UNAIDS
In June 2010, the Constellation and UNAIDS signed a Memorandum of Understanding. “Constellation and UNAIDS wish to foster a collaboration to facilitate the realization of a world where AIDS Competence spreads faster than the virus. […] The Constellation and UNAIDS appreciate the potential of experiences from community engagement to transform development thinking and to reshape development institutions. UNAIDS Guyana
UNAIDS Guyana supports the spread of AIDS Competence since February 2010. Thirty facilitators from all sectors in Guyana (Ministry, UN, community members, etc.) are learning to facilitate the process through learning events, the Blended Learning programme and joint practice with Constellation coaches in the field.

UNAIDS Trinidad and Tobago
UNAIDS Trinidad and Tobago statrted AIDS Competence with a Learning event in July 2011. Nearly, thirty facilitators from all sectors in Trinidad and Tobago (Ministry, UN, NGO, and community members) are learning to facilitate the process through SALT visits, learning events, the Blended Learning programme and joint practice with Constellation coaches in the field.

UNAIDS Regional Support Team for Europe and Central Russia
After an introductory visit of Jean-Louis Lamboray, chair of the Constellation, to Moscow from 24-29 May 2010, UNAIDS Regional Support Team (RST), CSOs and city mayors have started to apply the AIDS Competence Process in the Russian context.

Indonesia

Groupe Pivot
Mali
Based on the Constellation's approach, Groupe Pivot established throughout the country Equipes d'Appui et Apprentissage (support & learning teams). With support from the Global Fund, they are now scaling up the approach in the majority of communities in the region of Sikasso. Constellation coaches regularly go to Mali to support the facilitation teams.

Netherlands and Thailand
Oxfam Novib, through its E-motive programme, supports the exchange between the Interfaith Network of Thailand on AIDS (INAT) and Mexit (through the Togetherness Foundation) on the SALT approach and its application in Thailand and the Netherlands.

King Baudouin Foundation
Belgium
Fondation Roi Baudoin supported two exchange visits of Eric Ngabla, facilitator of RDCCompetence. Twenty six facilitators from BelCompetence, the Belgium national facilitation team, improved tehir facilitation skills during the learning event and several SALT visits to refugee centres, youth houses and Belgian politicians.

National Network of NGOs in Myanmar
Myanmar
From 4 to 8 July, two Constellation coaches facilitated a learning event in Yangon, Myanmar to introduce the AIDS Competence Process to members of the National Network of NGOs (3N) against HIV. 35 participants, mostly People Living with HIV from Community Based Organisations and self-help groups throughout the country, attend the three day event.

Our partners on malaria
Roll Back Malaria
Roll Back Malaria supported the Constellation to adapt the AIDS Competence Process to malaria since 2005. In 2008, the Constellation captured the progress that had taken place in Togo and the Gambia, since the approach was introduced. Results found were astonishing. Malaria Competence is recommended as one of the tools for Community System Strengthening under Global Fund.

Our partners on diabetes
Handicap International
Burundi, Nicaragua, India
Handicap International and the Constellation adapted the AIDS Competence Process to diabetes. Burundi, India and Nicaragua decided to carry the approach forward and, with our support, to adapt the AIDS Self Assessment tool and to test the tool in the field.

Fonds Ontwikkeling Binnenland (FOB)
Suriname
In Suriname, the Community Life Competence Process is applied to Water and Sanitation in 6 clusters, including 15 communities. This in the context of a partnership between Constellation, UNICEF Suriname, Fonds Ontwikkeling Binnenland (FOB), Red Cross and Peace Corps. The approach of the Constellation blended seemingly with another community based approach called PHAST.

Barbados
Seeing that the youth in the Caribbean has the capacity to envision, assess, act and adapt, UNDP Barbados, felt that this capacity can be revealed and nurtured through facilitated dialogue and action.
Starting off in December 2011, the Youth Think Tank (YTT) initiative is an appropriate mechanism for youth to discuss, reflect, learn and act on their concerns.
